8 slices American cheese *optional
1 tube Refrigerated Crescent Rolls [8 oz] (Blankets)

1.)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.)(If serving to small children cut the hotdogs in fourths length wise to help prevent the risk of choking) . Then cut the hotdogs in half to make them easier for small hands to handle.

3.)Wrap cheese* around each frankfurter then lay the crescent triangles out on a sheet of wax paper and show them how to roll up their pigs in a blanket. Put the pigs on a cookie sheet with the seam facing down.
4.) Bake in preheated oven until the blankets are brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Let cool and serve with mustard and ketchup. Kids love to dip them.
